The Slippery Slug might be the funnest surf craft on the river! A design that features deep tail channels that grip and rip with back foot pressure, but a wide surface area at the waist to the nose that allows you to shift your weight forward to spin and slide. The board evolved from seeing river surfers that have a skateboard, snow surf, and snow skate background pull their fins on their surfboards, and start to mimic skate tricks like shove-its, powerslides, and other street skate, and halfpipe lip tricks. It is ultra loose when you want it to be, but has enough bite to throw some buckets. 

 

The board is pretty specific to smooth green waves where the surf skim and skate style is flawlessly executed by these skilled crossover riders who have taken something different and made it their own.
