Where to go to surf river waves in Colorado has become more clearly defined over the last 10 years with new waves being built amongst the classic existing legacy waves that appear at certain flows. When the elements come together at a wave location and there is a nice green glassy wave to carve up you can have a magical landlocked surf experience. This map is a work in progress, and more spots and descriptions will be added over time. Use this as a guide to help point you in the right direction, and bring your quiver and gear to river waves near and far.
